Local potential of medicinal plants by Pakpak ethnic in Sitinjo 1 Village, Dairi District, North Sumatera

Knowledge-acquaintance and experience the public about efficacious medicinal plants develop from time to time. The biodiversity of flora in Nusantara is a valuable asset that it needs be utilized. Each region has potential nature knowledge inherited an ancestor should preserved developed. This study examine local community Pakpak ethnic occupied Sitinjo 1 village which commonly used society daily life. was conducted September-October 2021. methodology method observation interviews for next identification field. results this villages around found there are 37 kinds plant frequently by people treat various diseases. Medicinal most Asteraceae, Solanaceae, Zingiberaceae. can still developed because more possible could obtained Dairi district.
